Quality & Environmental Policy

CLUB DE MAR-MALLORCA, pioneer in the Mediterranean offering services to large yachts, is conscious os the importance of achieving the highest quality standards in the services we offer, as well as the need to preserve the environment and its natural resources. Therefore, CLUB DE MAR-MALLORCA assumes as its main objective the development of an Environmental Management System based in the requirements of the international norms ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, the EMAS Regulations and the UNE 188004 norm of touristic services in nautical and sports installations, according to the nautical, social and sport activities carried out within its installations.

To achieve this objective, the management of CLUB DE MAR-MALLORCA commits itself to:

  • To promote nautical tourism through the activities organised in its facilities as well as the touristic services offered in the Balearic Islands.
  • Supply all necessary technical and human resources to guarantee quality standards in the management of our services, trying to obtain always maximum satisfaction of our clients and visitors.
  • Direct and maximal involvement in Quality and Environmental Management at all levels.
  • Prevent the pollution and minimize the impact of our activities and services by reducing and managing all waste, controlling the emissions and effluents generated in our premises and rationing the consumption of natural resources and energy.
  • Offer proper quality and environmental training to all our staff.
  • Share with all club members, customers and other people using our premises our commitment to constantly improve by letting them participate in our projects and objectives. Make all nautical companies and professionals of this sector aware that the respect towards the Environment is everybody’s responsibility and not only of the Management and Staff of this Club.
  • Inform our suppliers about our Policy in order for them to participate in achieving our objectives.
  • Obey the regulations applicable to our installations, services and activities, as well as complying with other requirements voluntarily signed.
  • Cooperate with the public authorities in the drafting and updating of the emergency plans to minimize the effects of possible accidents that could affect the environment.
  • Continuously improve the efficiency of the implemented Management System.

This policy will be the reference frame to establish objectives of continuous improvement with which we may guarantee the quality and sustainability of the natural environment of the port of the Bay of Palma.
