The winners will be announced in January 2025 during the Flagship-Night, the first night of Boot Düsseldorf.
Club de Mar-Mallorca has hosted during the 22nd, 23rd and 24th of October, part of the fleet of sailboats aspiring to the European Yacht of the Year 2025 (EYOTY) award, an award considered the ‘Oscar’ of the nautical world that distinguishes the best European boat of the year.
From Tuesday 22nd to Thursday 24th, the EYOTY jury, made up of members of 12 nautical magazines from 12 European countries, put the finalist boats to the test in the Bay of Palma.
The process of selecting the winner of the European Yacht of the Year 2025 began in June with the pre-selection of the best boats. After this first phase, the nominated boats from Northern Europe were tested by the jury in Kiel, Germany, and those from the Mediterranean are being tested by the jury these days in Mallorca, based at Club de Mar-Mallorca.
