The inaugural edition of this exclusive celebration brought together nearly 600 members and guests for an unforgettable evening designed to become a lasting Club tradition.
Club de Mar-Mallorca hosted ATLAS Vol. 1 last night, the inaugural edition of a new celebration created exclusively for its members and set to become a landmark event in the Club’s social calendar. Nearly 600 guests attended an evening that combined music, gastronomy, tradition, and the finest Mediterranean atmosphere across some of the most iconic spaces of the newly transformed marina.
The name ATLAS was carefully chosen. Its inspiration stems from Mallorca’s deep connection to the history of navigation and Mediterranean cartography. In the 14th century, Palma was one of Europe’s leading cartographic centres, thanks to the creation of the renowned Catalan Atlas, one of the most important works in the history of navigation.
This heritage, closely linked to the sea and the spirit of exploration, resonates strongly with the identity of Club de Mar-Mallorca and provides the foundation for a celebration designed to become, summer after summer, a gathering point for everyone who forms part of this community. Each edition will represent a new volume in this shared story.
The evening began with a welcome cocktail reception at Pier 1000 and continued throughout the Club’s social area, where members and guests enjoyed a night defined by elegance, reconnection, and a strong sense of belonging at a particularly significant moment for the institution, following the completion of its transformation project.
A New Tradition for Members
Club de Mar-Mallorca President Borja de la Rosa highlighted the significance of the event, stating: “With ATLAS, we are launching a new tradition for our members. We wanted a celebration that reflected the Club’s identity, our connection to the sea and to Mallorca, while strengthening the sense of belonging that defines this new chapter in the Club’s history.”
The programme featured performances by The Chevrolets, who made a spectacular arrival aboard the striking yacht SAY, as well as Bellinis Septeto and DJ Paco Colombàs. Two performances received particularly enthusiastic applause from attendees: a traditional Ball de Bot by the Escola de Música i Danses de Mallorca and a synchronised swimming exhibition in the Club’s new pool, set against the backdrop of Palma Bay.
The culinary offering at ATLAS Vol. 1 brought together some of Mallorca’s leading gastronomic figures. Grupo Azotea, Santi Taura, and Tomeu Arbona created an exclusive dining experience for the occasion, complemented by a number of additional collaborators who enriched the evening’s culinary journey.
Grupo Brutus, through Cantina Grill Club de Mar, presented a selection of its signature specialities, alongside a carefully curated range of champagnes and local wines provided by Bodegas Ferrer. Meanwhile, Saltao de Mar delighted guests with a refreshing Pisco Sour cocktail, completing a gastronomic and wine experience of the highest standard.
The celebration concluded at Mar Salada, whose reopening brought music and nightlife back to one of Club de Mar-Mallorca’s most iconic venues, reviving a space deeply associated with the Club’s summer evenings. During the final hours of the event, Royal Bliss served an exclusive cocktail that accompanied the festive atmosphere until the close of the night. The return of Mar Salada provided the perfect finale to a celebration that marks the beginning of a new tradition for members and the start of a new chapter in the Club’s social life.
With ATLAS Vol. 1, Club de Mar-Mallorca adds a new annual event to its programme of activities, further reinforcing its commitment to offering exclusive experiences that blend nautical tradition, Mallorcan identity, and a lifestyle deeply connected to the Mediterranean.
