Club De Mar Mallorca

Club de Mar-Mallorca strengthens its leisure offering with new dining and retail spaces

The Club’s marina completes its transformation and begins welcoming visitors with a new offering featuring three restaurants, 25 retail units, and the return of the iconic Mar Salada.

Club de Mar-Mallorca is entering a new era following the completion of the final phase of its ambitious redevelopment project—a landmark transformation that opens the marina to the city and establishes it as one of the most distinctive new destinations along Palma’s waterfront.

Following the recent inauguration of its new pedestrian walkways, which have strengthened the connection between the port and the city while removing long-standing barriers between the marina and its urban surroundings, Club de Mar-Mallorca is now unveiling its new selection of restaurants, retail spaces, and waterfront experiences. The development features 1,350 square metres of commercial space distributed across 25 units, including a Carrefour City supermarket and a carefully curated mix of boutiques and specialist services. The retail offering combines nautical boutiques, fashion, jewellery, and Mediterranean lifestyle brands within an open, light-filled architectural setting surrounded by landscaped greenery. The result is a vibrant waterfront promenade designed to integrate seamlessly with the rhythm of Palma, offering an accessible, elegant experience that reflects the island’s maritime identity.

Cantina Grill: The First Culinary Opening

The first restaurant to open within the new complex is Cantina Grill, located in the former Marina Bar space and led by chef Perico Cortés. Known for his role in revitalising Plaza Gomila with venues such as Brutus and Bar Bellver, as well as established concepts including Patrón Lunares in Santa Catalina and Pizzamar and Brismar in Andratx, Cortés now brings his distinctive style to a prime waterfront location within the marina.

Cantina Grill serves breakfast and lunch daily in a privileged setting, featuring a spacious terrace overlooking the pontoons and offering uninterrupted views of the marina’s nautical activity. Its menu focuses on charcoal-grilled cuisine presented in a relaxed yet refined style. Dinner service will be introduced shortly, further enhancing the culinary offering along the newly opened promenade.

The Return of the Iconic Mar Salada

Mar Salada by Crudo is one of the most eagerly anticipated projects of this new chapter. The legendary Mar Salada returns with a renewed identity and a concept tailored to the new Club de Mar. The venue features a glass-fronted restaurant with a terrace that naturally evolves throughout the evening. Following dinner service, the atmosphere gradually transforms into an elegant late-night destination aimed at a sophisticated adult clientele.

The project is led by hospitality entrepreneurs Juan Carlos Oliver (“Nono”) and Pedro Marrero, two well-known figures in Mallorca’s restaurant and nightlife scene. This new interpretation preserves the venue’s distinctive Mediterranean and social spirit while reimagining it through a more contemporary, gastronomic vision closely connected to Palma’s revitalised waterfront.

Azotea Grupo Joins the Marina’s Culinary Destination

Club de Mar-Mallorca’s gastronomic offering will be further enhanced by new venues operated by Azotea Grupo, one of Spain’s leading hospitality groups renowned for creating unique dining experiences. At Club de Mar-Mallorca, the group will oversee Saltao de Mar, a Peruvian-Mediterranean inspired restaurant, together with the Club de Mar Lounge, two concepts that will reinforce the marina’s cosmopolitan, sophisticated, and experience-driven identity.

The arrival of these prestigious hospitality operators reflects the club’s ambition to create a distinctive destination capable of attracting both local residents and international visitors, while establishing the new waterfront promenade as a vibrant social hub beyond its nautical activity.

Open Architecture, Events and New Ways to Experience the Club

The new Club de Mar-Mallorca comprises four interconnected buildings housing offices, restaurants, a dry marina, exclusive members’ areas, a gym, spa, multifunctional event spaces, retail units, and dedicated facilities for private events. Within this new setting, the club also positions itself as one of Mallorca’s premier venues for private gatherings, corporate events, social celebrations, and exclusive experiences. Its open terraces, contemporary interiors, generous outdoor spaces, and panoramic waterfront views create a versatile environment where sophistication blends naturally with Mediterranean authenticity.

For those wishing to enjoy the club beyond occasional visits, a selection of Club Passes will provide year-round access to its facilities while preserving the institution’s core values of excellence, exclusivity, and passion for nautical culture. The private areas reserved for members will continue to form an essential part of the club’s identity and of the experience that has defined its community for decades.
