Club de Mar-Mallorca strengthens its international presence

At the beginning of June, Club de Mar-Mallorca took part in a trade mission to the Netherlands organised by Balearic Marine Cluster, an initiative aimed at strengthening the international connections of the Balearic maritime sector and gaining first-hand insight into some of the most influential companies in the global superyacht industry.

The club was represented by Sandra van der Plassche, Marketing and Communications Director, and Ginés Díaz, Head of Port Services, who joined an intensive four-day programme focused on knowledge exchange, business development opportunities and the establishment of strategic partnerships.

During the mission, the delegation visited internationally renowned organisations and companies including SYBAss (Superyacht Builders Association), Feadship, Oceanco, Vitters Shipyard, Balk Shipyard and Akerboom Yacht Equipment. These meetings provided valuable insight into the innovation, construction and management processes that are shaping the future of the global superyacht sector.

The initiative offered an excellent opportunity to explore new avenues for international collaboration, strengthen professional networks and engage with some of the leading players in an industry that is key to the development of high-end yachting.

Through its participation in this mission, Club de Mar-Mallorca further advanced its internationalisation strategy and reinforced its position as one of the Mediterranean’s leading marinas, once again demonstrating its commitment to excellence, innovation and continuous improvement.
