Following the completion of its refurbishment, the club is strengthening its sporting activities with an ambitious calendar of regattas and competitions for 2026.
Club de Mar–Mallorca is embarking on a new phase following the comprehensive renovation of its facilities, vigorously resuming the activities of its sailing section and reviving some of its most iconic competitions, as well as adding new important events to the sporting calendar.
The first major event of the season will be the Balearic Championship for Snipe and OK Dinghy International Classes, which will be held from 15 to 17 May for the first time at the club’s facilities. The competition, organised by Club de Mar–Mallorca in collaboration with the Balearic Sailing Federation, will bring together leading regional sailors in a key event on the Balearic calendar.
A month later, Club de Mar-Mallorca will revive one of its historic competitions: the CLUMA ILCA Trophy, the main annual dinghy regatta organised by the club before its refurbishment. The event will take place on 20 and 21 June, marking the return of one of the club’s most representative events.
From 11 to 15 August, Club de Mar–Mallorca will once again become the epicentre of international classic sailing with the celebration of the 31st Illes Balears Regatta. Following the success of the 30th edition, which brought together 40 classic and vintage boats and recorded the highest number of entries in the history of the event, the regatta will once again bring together some of the most iconic jewels of classic sailing at the club’s new facilities.
Another major new feature on the calendar will be the organisation, for the first time in its history, of the Flying Fifteen International Class European Championship, which will be held from 6 to 10 October. The event is expected to bring together around fifty boats.
In addition, Club de Mar–Mallorca will host the prestigious The Superyacht Cup Palma for the second consecutive year, reaffirming its position as a strategic location for major international nautical events.
Beyond sailing, the club remains committed to other sea-related sports such as canoeing. In this regard, on 30 May it will once again organise the Balearic Spring Sea Kayak Cup – 5th CLUMA Canoeing Trophy, thus expanding its multi-sport calendar.
The new facilities of the Club de Mar–Mallorca, which have a space entirely dedicated to sports, mark the beginning of an exciting new phase in the history of the organisation, which reaffirms its commitment to sporting excellence, the organisation of top-level events and the promotion of sailing.
