Club de Mar – Mallorca has been awarded the third prize in the “Ponte las pilas y recicla” 2025 competition, part of the Grímpola Ecomar programme, promoted by Fundación Ecomar in collaboration with Ecopilas. The club has been actively participating in this initiative since 2012.
The care and protection of the sea are core principles that guide the activities of the Club de Mar – Mallorca sailing school and canoeing team. Our close relationship with the marine environment also entails a strong commitment to its preservation, as well as to educating younger generations of athletes in respect for the environment.
This recognition is particularly meaningful, as the award ceremony took place last Friday in the club’s new training classroom, located on the ground floor of the Llevant building within our facilities.
The event was presided over by Theresa Zabell, President of Fundación Ecomar; José Pérez, President of Ecopilas; and Borja de la Rosa Maura, President of Club de Mar – Mallorca.
