The event served to present the new food truck that will be the new headquarters of the establishment.

On Saturday, December 18th, we said ‘Hasta la vista’ to Bar La Marina with a beautiful and emotional party that served to bring together all the friends of Club de Mar – Mallorca. La Marina will remain open and working at full capacity until renovation work begins on the main building of the club.

One hundred and twenty people gathered to celebrate the upcoming farewell of La Marina, which will be short-lived as the new food truck that will become the new headquarters of the establishment was presented at the same event. In this way, La Marina will be reborn as a new concept of food on wheels, run by the same team as always and which will be located next to the new temporary offices in dock 7.

The La Marina party featured a performance by the band Cubayuma, who filled the evening with music that was not to be missed by former bar workers who have watched the life of the club pass around them over the course of three decades.

Those attending the event, who presented the corresponding vaccination certificate to gain access to the premises, were able to enjoy a tasty plate of paella, as well as a tasting of the best tapas of La Marina.

The refurbishment work on the Club de Mar facilities will soon focus on the main building of the club and the current premises of Bar La Marina, which for decades have become the centre of the club’s social life, will then be forced to leave its current location to start its new life on wheels.
