I’m a 25 year old British/Greek national and recent university graduate where I studied marine, mechanical and offshore engineering. Although I am new to the yachting industry, I have many years of experience working as a water ski instructor, ski boat driver and boat mechanic with vast knowledge of engineering principles gained from my 5 years at university and I am looking for my first position where I can learn from both an engineering and deck aspect so that I can assist a dynamic, dedicated and tight-knit team in multiple areas.
I am confident, easy-going and always looking to learn from my peers. As mentioned, I have experience in the tourism industry, hospitality where I worked as a chef as well as the military where I was a driver and mechanic.
I am currently in Palma where I am doing the AEC courses (finishing on 11th April) and am on course to complete the training book for the SV EOOW course at Solent University, Southampton, so I can become a qualified engineer.
I possess an STCW 2010 Basic Safety Training (valid until Oct 2029), PSA (valid until Oct 2029), ENG1 medical (valid until Oct 2026), a Hellenic speed boat operator license (vessels up to 24m), AEC 1 & 2 and both a British and Greek passport.
