Club de Mar renews its concession until 2044
The Balearic Port Authority (APB) green-lights the 50-million € investment project that will open the Club's facilities to the city and will connect Paseo Marítimo with the cruises terminal through a free transit walking path.
PALMA, OCTOBER 18 2017.- The Administration Board of the Balearic Port Authority has approved today the remodelling project for Club de Mar-Mallorca's facilities, which will be adapted to the new port-city concept, with the extension of the public use areas, the creation of a walking path that connects Paseo Marítimo with the cruise terminal and a substantial improvement of the services to Members and users.

By virtue of the administrative institution's resolution, Club de Mar will keep its concessional lease 25 more years. In exchange, the Club will make a series of investments in public areas for a value of 50 million Euro, with a complete remodellation of the buildings, piers and docks. Also, as part of the agreement to obtaing the concessional extension, the club is committed to contribute to the public finances with 250 million Euro over the next 25 years.
