Jordi Lladó stood winner of the IV Cluma Trophy in teh absolite category in Optimist class. The RCNP sailor gave no choice to his oponents and took the lead in the four partial sets celebrated between yesterday and Sunday in the regatta organised by Club de Mar Mallorca, with 228 boats in Snipe, Laser 4.7 and Optimist class, an absolute participation record. Antonio Martino, from the hosting Club, classified second in the Optimist general, while Nacho Baltasar, from Club Nąutic Sa Rąpita (CNR), came in third.

The high number in participants made the organisation divide the Optimist fleet, with 187 oats, into tow groups. The vicepresident of the Balearic Sailing Federation, admitted to have surpassed all expectations, both in this class and in Snipe, which celebrated the Illes Balears Trophy within the Cluma one, with 23 crews. This definite "explosion" of Club de Mar's regatta proves, according to Velarde, that "this kind of sailing is on a height in the Balearic Islands right now".
