The Snipe class joins this year's Cluma Trophy
Club de Mar-Mallorca's Cluma Trophy, originally designed for children sailing, will have this year the presence of the Balearic Snipe class fleet, which will compete in the Illes Balears Trophy.
The competition will take place on April 22 and 23 in the waters of the Bay of Palma and it is organised by Club de Mar-Mallorca in collaboration with the Balearic Sailing Federation. Around a hundred boats are expected to participate in Optimist class, Laser 4.7 class and Snipe class.

The entries will be open through the Federation's website ( before April 15.
According to the programme in the Notice of Race, the registration of participants will take place on April 22 at 9.00 a.m. The first race, out of the three maximum per class, is scheduled at 13.00. That same day, upon return of the fleet to shore, there will be an afternoon snack for the participants.

The start on Sunday will be at 12.00, in order for the participants to make it on time back for the prize delivery ceremony, at 18.00.

The Cluma Trophy is the Club's annual main ragatta in juvenile sailing. This regatta's goal is to promote he practice of sailing at an early age.
